I'll still take the OS any day of the week and have no problems paying for it. Like Frank said awhile ago, there's people that are looking for a bang for the buck deal and those of us that want the best. OS has been the standard by which all engines are compared for years and even to this day, in this very thread we are still comparing everything to the OS speed. Has to be a reason for that.
See it's these type of posts that make me laugh Your first post was about how your $499 Speed II engine "smokes" our $199 dollar B5engine on the dyno. Then lo and behold a graph appears of our $229 B6 engine "stock" making more HP and more torque than your Speed II and now all of a sudden we get the "whatever the dyno says the OS will still win at the track" kinda statements lol because now dyno graphs all of a sudden don't matter to you lol. Reality of the matter is we just had the worlds and well, OS did not win at the track. They lost to an Orion engine that comes out of the same factory as our (to use your words) "bang for the buck deal" engines. Interestingly enough if I'm not mistaken even though OS I believe accounted for some 30+ percent of the engines at that race we also managed to beat 99% of those there with our "bang for the buck deal" engine with only 1 OS coming in ahead of us.

Now that they are not on top with the HP you now go on to talk about how OS focuses on smoothness of power band, usable power, fuel mileage etc. etc. Reality of the matter is if you want smoothness of the power band it does not get any smoother than the chart of our B6 with the 2057 pipe, it's nearly a perfect parabolic arch, no peaks, no valleys just smooth power. Looks a lot smoother than the graph of the Speed II I have to say!

I have no problem with you or others being loyal to your favorite brand but please do not try to convince people that your product is better simply based on your own personal opinion, try using some facts. Frankly if you do that then there is not much that you can really bring to the table in a conversation comparing the Speed II to our B6 other than it is awful expensive and they used to win races with their previous model in the past, that's about it.
