Well I blew up my Pletty last Sunday. Was the perfect kv and powerband for the GTP. My next motor options are either another Pletty Max, C50-8L Hacker or the 2650 Tekin. The reason I like the Pletty and Hacker motor, is the spoolup is quicker for onroad and dragracing. But there goes the money I was going to use to buy SNR chassis.
So for now I swapped in the Pletty BigMax, which is 2300kv. Too much torque, even with the smaller spur and 23T pinion.
Well the KingHeadz parts arrived and installed the extra beef. I'm using the hardend ring gears in the diffs as well. I can throw whatever power at my diffs now and not have to worry about breaking the plastic diff case cap again.

These are the caps I use on my Tekin esc's.
