Right, exponential can improve the trigger feel a bit, but it's definitely NOT boost. Boost is a word for adding timing to a motor, which will make it faster(though there are dangers in using it, namely going too far & burning the motor out), & certain ESC's like the Tekin RS series for example, can add in extra timing at specific rpm at a customizable rate. It's a bit like adding a second gear to a car, but the Havoc Pro does not have any kind of timing advance function, so you'll be fine to adjust what you want on it within the rules....
