Yeah, I have a MaxAmps 6500SS 4s that pushes out 60C. I have no problem making 20 min and it will compete with any nitro out there, IMO.
The RX8 esc/1700kv combo is a great choice and I would suggest hooking it up to Hotwire to fine tune. With the new software, you could change the settings to run like a 1900.
btw, I see ur from GA. did you go to the Georgia 1/8 Electric State Championships a couple weeks ago? I had the White and blue Associated there.
no i missed it. i had a hyper 9e a few months back and there were only a couple e buggies in GA, so i sold it. (plus i was having big problems with the MMP at the time) seems like the class has grown a lot and since they will be racing them at psycho nitro next year i decided to pick up a rc8be and start racing my favorite class again
