Took my car out for it's first race meet yesterday..

Started to get the two speed sorted after I had it kicking in way too early .... like straight away.
My run with it was cut short after the throttle servo died.

The Ninja motor in my Kyosho V1RR then died in the first main.

I then spent a frantic 20 minutes trying to put a new servo in the G4RS09 in ready for the last race.
I think i just missed out on getting it out there for the last lap!

Ended up having a few runs with it and then wound the 2 speed shoes in tighter until the thread was nearly flush with the end, and got it changing gears.

It has a Sririo 12 T3 Evo4 in it, and it was going really well, and was a pleasure to drive compared to the Kyosho.

The two speed shift seemed really smooth, im used to hearing a big change when it licks into second with the revs dropping and building again but this seemed to just go smoother .. hard to explain.

I think it has the standard gearing on it, and i am now wondering aboput changing it to suit the small track.

Our track only has a straight about 100ft long.
