The club is doing better because the RC business is doing better in general nationwide. While I enjoy and support the club I also made a concious decision a year ago to stop running at MARCCA as often and take Jason to Trackside and other tracks which had more stucture to the classes. Sorry to break this to you but there is usually better cleaner racing even at the club level at other tracks who have clear class rules. I also do not really see any cheating going on like the fear mongers proclaim. Jason seems to be competetive with equipment that falls within the rules.


MARCCAs structure also limits a persons ability to take their equipment to another track to compete in a class close to their ability. When there were only a dozen or so guys running maybe open and super made sense. With 50, 60 or 70 entries it would seem time to give more definition to the classes and help the members become better drivers and compete and represent MARCCA outside the clubs track.
