Stick with the HD bell. Like Rusty said, the bearing fit is sub-par in the standard bells.
IMO clutch bearings will never last very long. Even when running the more expensive ones. I stick with the $1 metal shielded bearings and change them often. I also blast the grease out of my clutch bearings and oil them with a thin bearing oil. RPM bearing blaster works great to clean the grease out.
