I guess you're right, however I've only ever really played with china offsprings, with no name engines. So basically it's not a huge concern to me wether they die fast or not (generally they last forever anyway lol). I recently got my Tmaxx going for the first time (bought second hand really cheap) and the previous owner had used the wrong screw for the suspension arms, so when I crashed at a low speed, it broke the arm, so I haven't got a chance to play with a nice 3.3 yet D:
