Guys _ I bought an already built Kanai 2 off ebay - the car was primo, but the builder didn't tighten down the clutch/flywheel sufficiently and it loosened when I tried to start it first time. The motor is very tight and it backfired and twiched the retaining nut.
That means I had to remove the clutch shoes et al to tighten the nut.........just checking - when looking at the motor from the shaft end back to the cylinder - (head on) - which way do the shoes go if the clutch shoe shafts/pins are at 8 12 and 4 o'clock? I think the 8 o'clock clutch shoe lays from the pin at 8 up to 12 basically
as the motor spins counter clockwise - is this correct?
thanks for your answer to a dumb question -
