I have great comparable experience. I have owned an E-Revo. Went from stock brushed to Mamba Monster with a Medusa 2300V2SE on 6 cell and everything in between. I know what broke, I replaced the parts. I up-graded and up-graded until I sold it and moved on to the Flux and Summit that I have now. I am speaking from experience. It can be made into a good truck, but for some people it can get very costly. Just wanted to point that out for the OP so he can have some idea what he might get into.
