I've been running the 7955s for a while now and am pleased, but I'm going to Lipo and want to take advantage of the added speed and torque that is available at 7.4 volts. What bothers me is that the 7955 doesn't have a spec at 7.4 volts...only at 6 volts. I know you can run them on 7.4 volt unregulated Lipos (correct me if I'm wrong).
So if a 7955 is .15 sec @ 333 oz/in at 6 volts, one would think that it would be faster and stronger at 7.4 volts. I'm thinking that maybe .02 or .03 faster and maybe 40 oz/in more torque.
Any thoughts on that?
Look at the specs for the 7954 same servo with steel gears vs. the titanium gears on the 7955.

NO! 7950 is a totally different servo! Big improvement over the 7955.
