You can order a type B right off the HPI US site, there was a guy on eBay in the US selling some too, but I think he ran out.
I believe the difference between the 014 and 016 is the width. The 016 is wider so that a 6 cell battery will fit, and the 014 is narrower for a 4 cell battery. I'm not 100% sure on that though.
