Toasted a Tekin RS and motor at the same time?
So i was wondering if somebody here can shed some light on what might of happened.
Last saturday I was driving my buggy around my local indoor clay track, and right on the landing of a jump, my car came to a sudden halt. I knew I still had SOME power, because the car would move a tiny bit, but it was making a "click click click" kind of sound. From the driver stand it sounded like I broke a drive shaft, CVD, or maybe my diff?
But when I got the car back to the pits, I realised it was in the electrics. So I swapped one tekin RS for my backup terkin RS, but the problem remained. The motor wouldnt really spin, it would just make a strange howling / screeching / ticking sound. So i swapped the motor for my backup motor, and vuala, the car was off and running.
So assuming that the issue was the motor all along, the next day I put the original tekin back into the car, and the problem came right back. So, ultimatley what ended up happening, is that the Tekin RS AND my duo2 13.5 motor both fried together... they were BOTH bad.
WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED?
