Using a reamer to make the holes has helped my RPM cups last a lot longer. Without the holes when I was twisting the cups off they'd quickly get stretched and pop off in crashes. Can't think of a crash where the reamed RPM cups popped off yet, well a crash that didn't break parts that is.
