Got a question about RX packs in our cars. With these packs we normally have to run with the on/off switch of the esc in the OFF position. No one really explained to me....THE WHY. What happens if the esc is turned on? My last race day (Wednesday), I ran my car like this in the last Qual & Main. Believe me, it wasn't done on purpose. Could this be the reason why my car felt like a turd speedwise?
i think the answer depends on which ESC. (and i know with tekin RS software, v198 or before?)
with the current tekin software, you can turn on the speedo or not, there should be no performance impact. however if you turn on the speedo then the volage cuttoff will be operable. (not a high priority for me, so i never bother turning on the speedo switch) either way, it is hard to see how switch's on vs off position would impact runtime performance
