I believe you its just that after 11 years on Off road Nitro ( not racing mostly) Water and engines have always been a big no-no. I never even considered it because everyone always jams into your head to keep your engine and engine internals dry, but I guess as long as you dry them and lube them before the possibility of rust then its all good.
