As far as the Jato being laughed at, not when they are on road. If you plan on running off road, seriously, sell it and get something different.
There are some who will say it can be used off road, it is all about the driver, etc., but look at those same people who say that and watch some of their videos of the Jato in off road action. It aint pretty lol.
A Jato is too heavy and overpowered to run very good on an offroad track. Decent for bashing and asphalt parking lot races. I wouldn't put any money into it expecting it to be competitive offroad. Bashing, yes - Racing, no
