I have heard all kinds of stories on vspecs.

Now from running them for the last 3 years, my engines have ALL reached 9 gallons. I have one with 11 gallons on it. (and it still fires up)

Some key point I believe lead me to have such luck is:

1. Make sure the piston has been place DB after each run period. It is now a habit.

2. Tune correctly!. And most of the time, that does not require a temp gun.

3. BDC or DBC what ever you wanna call it.
