When I first got my RC10B4, I got a spektrum radio as well and read that it had a failsafe built in. So I decided to set the failsafe at full brake and centred steering. Sounds okay, right? Well I took it outside for the first time, drove it around a bit, and then without thinking I turned off the tx. The failsafe engaged, but because it was stopped it just kicked it into reverse at full throttle. Took off and smashed into the far end of my house where it proceeded to burn the brand new tires down to the foam. Now I always bind electric cars at neutral throttle.
Nice tip thanks! My stupidest mistake ever was not joining this site before I starting buying rc cars.
And my second stupidest mistake and one I seem to keep making is trusting anything anyone says that is selling used on ebay.
Oh and my very stupidest was buying a kyosho TR15 off ebay lol
