I agree. Who you talk to can make a huge difference.
Also, If the servo was drawing too many amps, the motor in the servo was at fault, or possibly the circuit board allowing too many amps to the motor. Definitely couldn't have been your fault unless your end points were set wrong. They should replace it. Call again for sure.
