How many volts on my receiver pack do I need in order to run safely? I would like to check once in awhile but want to make sure whats a safe voltage? I usually just plug it into my charger and it reads how many volts it has. This reading should be accurate from the charger correct? Can someone give me some numbers? 
I believe most receivers have a threshold voltage of about 4.8 V before the fail safe kicks in (if you have one).
One NiMH cell is 1.2 V. 5 cells would be 6V. Some times after charging, it even touches to 7V.
