I would just upgrade the shocks to V2 for reliability and ease of maintenance. I would also upgrade the ESC to something a little ore race worthy. Try the Tekin or LRP. LRP currently has the exchange program, se RC10.com for details. The motor would be upgraded to something like the LRP x-12 or similar. All the other stuff can be added over time once you get the hang of racing.
