Check the tightness of the king pin. Release the steering from the servo and see if it turns smoothly. If it does then your problem is more likely to be servo related. I had a similar problem after putting in the flourine coated king pins. Sometimes it would steer fine and sometimes it would get stuck. I loosened them a little now it's fine.
