I score the wheel well with a new xacto, then use my lexan scissors to make pie cuts up to the scored area, then snap it out. Go back and touch up with a sanding drum on a dremel, but that's rarely needed. You can cut nice curves with this method. If you want, trace what you want for the wheel well out, then score your trace. Once lexan is scored it will snap on that line.
