what is your method for engine break in?? how many tanks?? this should be in the manual once i get it but every engine manufacture seems to have a different way.... i would like to have 1/2 a gallon before sat. race day thru the motor before race tune.. jeremy
I personally do the cyrul breakin... WOT and flood the HSN for about a half gallon. then bring it in on the track slowly. Once a gallon is over let it rip.


Exactly, they really dont reach full tune and RPM until a gallon or more has been ran, this isnt an engine that looses its fit after a couple tanks of quarts. Engines that have long life are made with more care and the parts fit much better but do require alittle more run in. Be patient as you will have many many gallons of happy engine life and reliable performance as your reward The $200 engines that seem to be all the rage are spent by the time ours is just getting good. We're not interested in manufacturing average or cheap engines. Its not our market. For the price and the product the Tecno is one of the best deals out there right now
