i can tell you right now if you run it rich you will break a rod alot quicker, running rich wont make your engine last longer, it will shorten the life of the engine just like it would running it lean, dont be scared to get it hot, i dont use a temp gun for that purpose, i temped mine this weekend and i was coming off at 270-275 and it was tuned perfect. but like i said running it rich is bad for it too!

im not purposly running it rich im still in break in process. Trust me once i find that tune i like its stayin and the tune i had for the track i ran was perfect lol it was a lil track so it did perfect. Once i get out to my lhs im tunning it in to where it needs to run for a big and fast track. Im just trying to find longevity to, i would much rather pay 30 for a rod then 100 for a whole p/s/r kit lol.
