1st race day with the clocked B5. New brand of engine for me. After a couple flameouts here and there and having the needle balance out of wack at first it started to tune in pretty easy, kinda tells you what it needs. Running the werks plug and 2013 pipe and an answer-rc clutch setup. All worked well today. Myself and 3 other drivers raced my truggy today. The last 2 are buggy racers with limited truggy time. There was zero negative feed back abouy truggy or engine. New layout at lost creek has a longer front straight and it's long by most tracks standards and the B5 probably needed another 50 ft to stretch out. Power downlow out of slow corners was very controllable and comfy to drive with the massive grip on the track today and a lower stall speed high bite clutch. It accelerates quite exponentially and in my opinion outpowered the other truggies after it was in tune. After 4 different drivers in a total of 4 races today it finished 4th in the main with man #4 having the least truggy experience. Everybody had a blast driving it and many a blast watching it. Great engine with way too much topend, lol.
