brand new, only about 10 tanks of byrons gen2 pro 3000, went through 3 McCoys mc-55 plugs and 2 odonnell med. plugs in that amount of time breaking the motor in. Will now try adding the extra shim to ease the compression on the plugs, maybe that might help. I have never gone through that many plugs breaking in any other motor. I love my Go 21 7 ports, thats why we bought this motor....he wanted a 28 and is just a basher and not a true racer.
I believe it should have one alum. and 2 copper just like the other Go motors, it may have come with not enough shims. The Std. plug Go's use the shorter Os. style plugs. I think the Odonnell plugs have a Os at the end of the part #. You can also add 2 washers on the glow plug. I do not think it's your problem but just so you know.
