Oh dear, I know how you feel though Mark.
I just got back from the US and thought I'd join the race at my club (the outdoor one). Of course, all winter I've been playing indoors and the outdoor track had been wet all night.
It wasn't a good start for anyone including me. By heat 3 I got the car to perform better but the problems go on and on. They were small ones but enough for me to say "bugger it, I'll pack up and go watch the Bahrain F1!"
Time to rebuild the car ... it hasn't been serviced since I bought it and its done at least 5 races in Asia and Europe!
