
I run a .28 in my truggy.You don't need to hammer it to clear the big stuff so the milage is pretty good acually.You also don't need to be spot on with the tune because you have power to spare so you can tune conservative promoting longer engine life.Lower reving .28 should be easier on rods and bearings too. New Losi 454 $100.00 on ebay,I am not putting my $280.00 V Spec .21 back in anytime soon.For top level racing yea .21 for sure.If you can control the throttle finger a .28 is sweet for club racing.On a technical track the extra low end grunt comes in handy.And I don't get passed on the front straight either.(unless I am pulling in for that one extra stop in a 20 min main just to be safe)
The Go Gen 5 3R $120.00 on ebay is kickin as* in my buggy.Losi RE11 pipe smooth bottom,starts kickin in the middle and revs alittle more out the back.
