Thought I would leave that alone ? Wrong...! First of all its made in the stiff grey carbon reinforced composite plastic. Personally I like it a lot, I have no clue in why people would like to have it in the normal milled carbon plates... no clue. I like, I like.

Lowering of the battery pack
The normal 5-cell flat battery pack can sit about 2 mm lower. So I made some spacers out of parts of the camber tool that is included in all NTC3 kits (I've never used it anyway). With a big drum-sander in my Moto-Tool I shaped them so they would fit the cells good. See the pix, before (right) and after (to the left). The thickness at their thinnest point is about 2 mm.
