Mmm they are not as fragile as you might think and will handle most common racing bumps and knocks as well as any other brand... I have been racing mine for well over a year and haven't broken a suspension or chassis part yet... I have broken one bumper but that was after running into a concrete wall at full throttle thanks to some radio interference..

Parts quality does seem a little bit random but it all depends on which version of a part you have... they've changed rear uprights several times, pulleys a couple of times and even some chassis pieces have been revised based on the feedback they get
