You're correct. He was a factory driver and the team manager, left the K factory team and moved to Tamiya/TRF as full time driver. Which makes me wonder why he left the TRF team?
Nonetheless, he gave my TRF801x buggy an image when we was racing it since I was the only one who had one at my local track.
