does the crank from the mx5 work on the .21 5port +2 pro

I was thinking of changing the rod and crank...i would like to avoid changing the crank but everyhting else is new on this engine except the piston rod and sleeve..so I was planning on a pinch, new rod and crank (maybe). my total should be like 55$ bucks to revive this engine (without crank)

the rod does not have any play, so I can pinch it for 20 bucks and go from there...i guess...and buy a mx5 later.
the newer gx series go motor rod/sleeve/piston all fit in this if its a gen 5.5, pull you hsn needle out and see what color your orings are, if they are the tan like colored ones just replace those with the new ones fron the gx series. if the engine doesent have more than 5 gallons through it i would wait on a pinch, plus 55.00 is a bit high for a pinch, 35.00 in normal. you need to speak with grizz or RUNNE on here and get there professional opinion.
