I know that when we go from standard 2.2 buggy tires to 2.0 custom works street tracs we can gear up 4 teeth on the pinion to give us about the same performance. My 13.5 is really fast for what it is, but as a racer I always want to make the car faster. My motor comes off at about 135 and I am not affraid to run it up to 160-170 if the performance gains are worth it. Can sombody help me out here?
I have run 5.5 & 6.5 with 528 MOD in a sprint car on loose dirt. This may not equate exactly with what you are doing, but maybe there are some general hints.

I dropped 2-3 teeth 48 pitch from where i was non boosted. I also had the delay set at 0, and 4000 (or 3500, whatever the minimum is) start RPM. Basically, I started the ATMS timing fairly low, and added looking at temps and what the track could handle. I also set #15 high, like 7 or 8 to keep the power from coming on too harsh and keep temps in check. DRRS is also low to keep the throttle smooth. 13.5 may be need to be set a bit more aggressively.
