You could run either one, but if you're following what we're saying about the buggy 2050 versus the buggy 1900 here, the same principles ring true for truggy. Lower-kV means easier to drive and more efficient. Most of the pro drivers use 1700 or close motors in their truggies. Although I admit, I'm not the highest authority on the subject. I'm sure the other people in this thread will give you concrete advice; I'm just stating what I've heard, and what makes logical sense.
