Most of the guys I have seen running the Ofna DM-1 as an e-car are using the 2 speed, not a center diff. Thats the beauty of the Tekno conversion it was designed with the 2 speed in mind.
My GT-E has a diff because fitting a 2 speed and brake servo is much tougher with the conversions that are out there for Kyosho's. I don't miss the 2 speed though, the MM with 4S and 2200 kv motor is plenty fast and will be ballistic with a 5 or 6S battery.
Yeah, been watching that. Danny from Tekno is running cener diff with 500k, but I didn't ask what they were running front/rear for viscosity. The 2 speed is going in the box. I moved all the components to the tekno chassis last night. I just realized with the snr shock towers there's not much for adjustment of ride height.
Which mobil 1? Going to pickup 500k diff fluid on the way home tonight.
