Thanks !! I learn something new every day . I had always used all four mounting holes on my wings; it just seemed more secure that way and that's what it looks like they're doing in the kit instructions. I guess I have some changes to make to both my RC8B vehicles, LOL.

One last question, is the gear mesh set with the same parameters as a Nitro clutch bell? In other words, you want to get it as close to the spur as possible while retaining a half a click of free movement back and forth between the teeth on the spur and pinion? This plastic spur gear makes me nervous; It just doesn't seem like it's going to hold up to the power and torque of this motor/battery output.
