yes
I actually turn up idle 1/8 turn from the setting with a .7-.8 pin/guage, then lean LSN untill get good idle, then use the pinch method to fine tune it/check how long it takes to spool up and die and how much it spools up.
Time it takes to spool up indicates rich or lean and how much it spools up indicates your idle gap setting.
