Just to clarity, our GTBs work fine with the blue wire unplugged or cut---this sensor wire detects the motor temp, but the GTB will not shut down if the motor overheats.

Our first GTBs---many, many years ago ---had thermal protection, but racers hated it and simply removed/cut the blue wire, so we removed the circuitry from this esc.
