I never understood why it does that with the stock shaft? Tamiya and Xray get it too so thats why aftermarket came out with the one that hot bodies made for the HB tc. The HB web site say The DCJ or (Double Cardan joint) shaft breaks the single pivot point into two pivot points resulting in less drag and shallower shaft angles during sharp turning.
