rbboy: You may want to consider the Yokomo DB5 WSPEC or the Hot Bodies TCX as they are the two most popular new cars at JP. You will be able to get a lot of setup advise for those at the track. The New 417 and T3 2011 are not yet out so getting a Tamiya kit or Xray kit is worth holding out on. I feel all the kits are very competitive it really down to parts support and maybe brand preference.
