How have you been "warming" them boiling the complete wishones seems like a bad idea as that'll just de-stress them and they'll be all bendy again surely ??

Yeah good point. I would just dip the ends in the water only although I didn't heat mine up at all and snapped them in fine. **kids don't try this at home!
