Rex has ran these motors for a long time an knows much about them. Maybe you are mistaking PINCH for compression. compressions deals with shim hight with the head button. so you can take your tighly pinched motor and increase the compression by removing the nessisary shims. these motors do have alot of pinch but these compression is about average with the rest.
Yes i know i sent my engine to him to have repinched. But yeah i was confusing compression with pinch, although my engines do have alot of compression, they'll pop the button head off when rotating the flywheel if they are not secured down with bolts. But i have no way of comparing that to other .21 engines, i've always run small block engines in the past.
