I have done some research but I'm still at a lost regarding entry level EP road cars.
I'm considering the following choices:
Tamiya TT01
HPI E10
Kyosho Faser/Pureten series
Kyosho Mini-Z AWD
HPI Micro RS4
In terms of hop ups/aftermarket mods, which models here have the most "support" locally? I only know 1 shop for each of the brands above, Tamiya (Stargek), Kyosho (Toykar) and HPI (Tai Sing). Are there other shops too?
I've a preference for either mini-Z and HPI micro RS4 due to the size and hence the possibility of playing indoors but the build is unlike the 1/10 series that works more like real cars, which would be a learning ground for my kid.
TT-01 will be considered the better one as the hop-up and replacement parts are easily avaliable. local hobby shop that sell many parts would be at orchard plaza level 2, swan model land and trading.
