Thanks much for the suggestion. Point well taken. I also plan to cut out a beefier front bumper and I'm not very impressed with the front top links. It looks like a lot of you have gone to the more traditional ball stud/turnbuckle design for this item and I think I'll follow suit as soon as I can get off a new parts order.
The JR links work fine but add a lot of bulky unsprung weight compared to the normal ballstud. Some people use them with great success but either setup can win for you.
