60 deg max is a relative number. I DON"T reccomend it for everyone. Gearing must be perfect when pushing the limits of setups/power. Understand I was right there working directly with Hara and the others with temp gun in hand making sure the cars would run right.

At one point we over did it and got his motor over 200. So we made some adjustments. Hara runs his car like a machine, hardly ever making a mistake. His car is always in motion and rarely looks like there's any wasted movements. Because of this he's not loading up the car as much as the average racer would be.

The average racer is not going to take the time we did to make sure the gearing is PERFECT. Any mistakes will melt down the motor. This race was at the highest level of competition where every tenth counted.

For club racing it's a bit extreme. So take the setup and dial back the boost to 45, cut the motor timing in half.
