I race oval and charge 4 cell packs all the time. If you have the Eagle power supply, you can lower the charger's input voltage to 10.2V to 10.4V and charge 4 cell pack at high current (6A+). The 4.5A or 5A current limit only appears if the input voltage is higher. The unit can charge up to 16V or 17V even with a 10V input, it seems to have a step-up circuit built-in.
Have anyone triede this with single cells? With 11,6 volt in, I can charge single cells at around 3,6 amps.
