Me too I didn't see which way it should go in? Anyhow, mine ended up being on the left side and the diff seems to be fine. I don't think it really matters cause either way you still have to take the camber link\wheel off to adjust on either side.
My apologies...it does not state which direction it goes in. Typically you want to put it in on the driver's right position or spur gear side. i had to go back to the FTB4 instruction manual to verify this. The other direction could possibly loosen your diff screw.
