Default I'm thinking about getting a . . . simpler radio system

Hey Guys,

So here whats going on. I got a Futaba 3PK Super which I had been wanting for a while, had a 3PM 2.4Ghz, and finally found a great deal on a Futaba 3PK Super so I bought it and sold my 3PM.

Here the thing, its got more functions and features than I will every use . . . in my life.

Honestly, I'm to the point now of looking for a cheap 2.4Ghz radio system which has very cheap receivers (I hate moving receivers, I just want one receiver in each vehicle and be done with it).

I run almost purely Monster Trucks, Super Clod Buster, Clodzilla II, Juggernaut, and a Dual Hunter, looking to possible get a Blackfoot or Wild Willy in the near future.

I looking at the Tower Hobbies 224, mostly because of the following

A: I never have used the 3rd channel
B: Sold and Mailed from in the US
C: Its Tower so I get double the warranty with my Super Saver Membership
D: New receivers are 22.99 vs 40 ~ 60 I'm paying used now for receivers
E: It only takes 4 x AAs
F: Everything I have read about them has been the same, its a good basic 2.4Ghz receiver

I've been looking at hobbyking, but I just rather order stuff that is warehoused in the US, plus I do have a bit of loyalty to Tower since I have been using them for 10 years with no issues, they have been fantastic.

I like the 3PK Super, its an amazing radio but I found that I'm setting everything to the basic mode and turn off as much as possible. I don't race, all I do is bash, and I never use any of the features that come with the transmitter.

Any and all opinions would be highly appreciated.

Thanks
